It’s been a week since Spring arrived, and I’ve played her more than Red over these seven days. She’s already seen time in both Love Notes and Green Movement, clean and dirty, in loops and with drums. Her Shawbuckers sing beautifully, but what truly makes her special is how her body and neck feel so familiar — as natural and comfortable as Red’s.
There’s something about playing Spring that brings Haruna and Scandal to mind — the energy, the emotion, the spark of inspiration. She’s got that same spirit, yet she’s fully her own being.
After a week together, I can say it without hesitation: Spring is as close to my heart as Red. I now have two home guitars — both my #1.
