Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2019 vs PRS CE 24 2021.
So I have had both for some time now. And I’ve pitted them against each other regularly. I was hoping that there would be clear winner for me to sell the loser. However, there is none.
The Gibson is a solidly-built guitar that screams quality all over. She has the looks and vintage sound to die for. And she can hold good value in the sellers’ market.
The PRS is also built with fine craftsmanship with a modern look. She is lightweight with a neck that makes playing a walk in the park. Her pickups are hot and versatile. But she doesn’t hold her value well in the market.
My heart prefers the vintage feel and sound of the Les Paul. But the CE 24 is so easy to play that I can’t ignore her too.
So I’ll let the market decide for me. The first good offer for either will determine their fates.
