Today, unexpectedly, I nabbed this gorgeous 2005 Schecter S-1 Elite (made in Korea) for $100. She was quite dirty due to the previous owner’s lack of attention. I took a closer look at her after cleaning her up; she’s really pretty with that quilt trans crimson maple top, abalone binding, gothic cross inlays and that stunning headstock. She has a string-through mahogany body with rosewood board. She also has grover tuners and duncan designed pickups. She even has the push-pull pot. Honestly, she looks and feels like an expensive guitar. Yet, the net tells me she’s a budget guitar. How and why, I have no idea.
I’m just gonna enjoy playing her for awhile. Sell or keep, I will see.
