At the same City Music sale, I grabbed this VOX MV50 AC (a display unit) for less than 150. She looks classy in her small chassis and she packs a serious punch with her 50-watt power, roaring like one maniac British rocker! I was closed to getting a used one for 100 but the seller backed out without reason. But this showroom one is still desirable.
My Blackheart Little Giant 5 has served me well and she is still a capable amp. But I have always wanted a small amp head to replace the Little Giant which isn’t little. I found the Orange Crush Mini which could have been the main amp head but I’ve paired her with a small portable 8″ Orange cabinet. Therefore, this MV50 comes at the right time to replace the Little Giant.
