Yesterday, I got hold of this 2022 Fender Player Precision Bass (Special Edition) in the like-it-or-hate-it electron green. I have been hoping to let go of my 1977 Fender P Bass to free up some funds. But I wanted to ensure I have a good pbass in either the squier or the mexican/japanese fender. A used squier pbass will cost 500plus and not without the maple fretboard I was looking for. A japanese fender will cost above 1K. And this came along – a mexican fender that cost less than 750, the cheapest in the market now. And this is of the Player Series, a mexican line well-received by many players. Fender is doing something right with the Player Series for all their guitars. If I’m fortunate, I might find other gems in the series soon at great prices.
