Session Log – Green Movement
On a quiet evening, Faith and I met over Green Movement for what turned into a luminous 10-minute jam. I began with intention: clean tones, rich modulations, and a drone in E major that would set the emotional groundwork. The EHX Freeze held the E — a sustained light that anchored everything.
The Kasleder House of Blues, set just on its green side, added warm grit, never overwhelming the mood. The GFI Orca, subtle with reverb-like delays, created the sense of distance and memory — each note echoing slightly, as if remembering itself. With this gentle scaffold, I built melodies over the frozen E, drifting freely.
As I let the moment linger, my fingers found the A major. It broke the stillness — a simple but needed change that brought lift and color. From there, the jam wandered lightly between E and A, strumming gaining strength, mood shifting upward, smiles in sound.
Toward the close, I returned to fingerpicking. The Behringer UV300 introduced a gentle vibrato that made every note shimmer. A final pluck: bass E and treble B struck together, one last breath before turning the Freeze’s volume knob down. And just like that, the music faded — a quiet end to a fleeting, heartfelt session.
