I found myself playing a simple Am to F progression—letting it loop while the Orca spilled dreamlike echoes over it. It felt moody, open, and desperate. So I turned to Psalm 6, where David cries out for mercy, healing, and rescue.

And it just fit.

The Broadcast gave it urgency. The Orca blurred the edges in a way that matched the raw ache of David’s voice. The loop became a foundation—almost like a bed of trembling, unresolved hope—and as I recited the psalm aloud over it, it was as if the music had been written for those words.

“Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint… My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long?”

The tones didn’t fight the text. They carried it.

For a moment, gear, scripture, and spirit aligned.

And it reminded me why I do this.
