Someone managed to accept the cosmetic flaws of the Fender Mexican Stratocaster with her discolouration and took her in. The young gentleman, in return, gave me his 2018 G&L Tribute® Series ASAT Classic, G&L’s take on the venerable Telecaster. Unlike the previous G&L in the George Fullerton Strat, this axe has something I’ve always wanted to try – the famous Magnetic Field Design (MFD) pickups. I will probably have some fun adjusting the individual pole pieces on the pickups.
