Yes, I have my dream guitar now. The R6 (1996 Gibson Pre-historic ’56 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue) is the axe I will keep for long until its value appreciates.
For the rest of the Gibsons, I hope to sell them all. In fact, I hope to sell the rest of the guitars too. The business will continue.
Perhaps, I could keep the 7-string Ibanez ARZ307. Perhaps, I could keep the Squier Classic Vibe ’50s Precision Bass.
I may want to get a full-solid but smaller acoustic guitar – the Project X comes to mind. I may want to get a Fender Jaguar or Telecaster, or even a Yamaha Revstar with P90s.
Amps
The Mesa Boogie cab with 2 x 12″ Celestion Vintage 30 will most likely stay for good. The Blackheart Little Giant makes a very good head. The Orange Crush Mini is a capable head too. The Blackstar Beam, though on sale, serves as a powerful bluetooth player.
Still, I am constantly looking for a cool head to replace the Blackheart.
Pedals
I’m keeping these:
- Crayon (for boost and overdrive)
- Hall of Fame Mini (for reverb)
- GarageTone (for tremolo)
- Boss RC-3 (for looping)
- Caline The Noise (for noise gate)
I am looking out for an EQ pedal, a chorus and a delay replacement, and even a looping alternative.
I am selling the rest.
