When I woke up to the starry Sunday morning, I felt a deep sense of gratitude towards God. The number of stars symbolises the blessings I have in my life by God’s grace. I can never thank Him enough.
Yes, I had a short outburst towards my children later in the morning (something I had apologised to them for). But I can never ever feel that there is no need to be grateful in my life. My family is one huge blessing.
I communicated my sense of thankfulness to a few colleagues this morning about the stars, the P6 reunion, etc. I’m also encouraged by the song “Gypsophila” from the light-hearted drama “Crash Course in Romance” that added to the positive vibe.
I could also never forget the death of my father-in-law on 29 Jan 2023 after our miraculous sinner’s prayer with him in his coma, the assurance of his salvation from an unlikely saint, the saving grace upon my own mother, my mother-in-law and my wife’s aunt and uncle in that week, and finally, my older child’s decision to be baptised and my younger one praying to receive Christ.
God’s hands have been moving.
Into His hands I commit all things.
