“Salvation belongs to the Lord.”
This evening’s session was short—just five minutes—but it felt like a breath of devotion.
It was Joy who joined me at Green Movement, running through Loop B of the board: Broadcast-AP into the Behringer UV300 vibrato. That’s all it took. No delay, no Freeze this time. Just a few warm textures shaped by my fingers and faith.
The chord progression—A minor to F major to G major to E major—flowed in a 3-beat pattern. First beat: bass string. Second and third beats: treble strings played together. It gave the loop a heartbeat, simple and steady. I let it run, looping quietly in the background like morning breath.
Then came Psalm 3. I recited the words aloud over the music, letting each phrase find its place within the rhythm. The melody that followed wasn’t blues or rock—it had a French impressionist feel, airy and tender, almost liturgical.
The final verse, “Salvation belongs to the Lord,” landed in the heart of the loop, repeating in my spirit as the notes faded out.
It reminded me that sometimes a prayer doesn’t need volume—it just needs space.
