about vintage and sire

I’ve been doing my mini guitar business since 2019. I’ve had the unique opportunity to try different guitars(or instruments), improve my limited skills (playing and servicing) and just learn the broad idea of guitars.

I have tasted the big and established brands like Gibson (and Epiphone), Fender (and Squier), Martin, PRS, Ibanez, Gretsch and Yamaha. I’ve also tried other quality brands in G&L, Schecter, James Tyler, Kiesel, Reverend and Cort.

However, in the last two weeks, I’ve learned that Vintage and Sire guitars are affordable instruments that are grossly underrated. The 2018 Vintage V6 Thomas Blug Signature ‘Summer of Love’ I own now has so much going for her that I can’t believe not many really see her as a serious instrument. Because of her, I started checking out other Vintage instruments online. They offer a wide range of shapes just like Fender. But I’m eyeing their les pauls in the V100 Gold Top (P90s) and V100 Lemon Drop (Peter Green).

Sire is well-known for their bass guitars (Marcus Miller signatures). I’m already getting one for sure. But their electric guitars are also attractive with impressive features. And I’m also interested in their les paul in the L7V and their tele T7.

So I could see the arrival of some Vintage and Sire soon.
