This is probably the second most important purchase for me (other than the R6). I knew I was going to get a Sire bass, and I thought I was going for the P7. I like the switch between pbass and jbass pickups. I was hoping to go back to try the M series.
Until this gorgeous 2022 Sire Marcus Miller V7 in burgundy came along. The owner imported this from Thomann in Germany but the long wait led to another higher grade purchase in the M7. Hence, he decided to let this brand new piece go for 200 below rtp at the local store. He did show me a tiny imperfection at the headstock but I can accept it.
As a guitarist who desires playing bass properly, this 5-string bass is a fine piece of instrument. The only complaint I have against her is the sprouting frets. Yet, her phenomenal sounds cover the flaws more than adequately.
I hope I will enjoy her for as long as I can.
