many own the telecaster but not many own the esquire

Someone said this on his youtube channel. And I agree.

I was taking a while to sell the EBMM Cutlass which was a very fine instrument that I had no affinity with. But the Singapore market is not very friendly to any Music Man. Then, this beautiful 2020 Fender 70th Anniversary Esquire appeared in the market. I offered the Cutlass for the her. And the rest is history.

The Esquire has a special place in the history of the electric guitar. She was the first solid-body electric guitar sold by Fender way back in 1950. She debuted with a single bridge pickup and went on to achieve fame and eventually evolved into the Telecaster.

This is a limited edition 70th Anniversary model made only in 2020. Almost everything about her is vintage-correct. Her serial number starts with ‘V’, akin to an AVRI serial number. She is one collectible. As expected, she sounds different from my Thinline too. I’m hoping I can release the Thinline to the market cos I probably will keep the Esquire as a long-term keep.
