The last few days had been fruitful with the addition of three axes and the departure of two. First, I got a 4-string bass in the form of the unknown Peavey G Bass which was made in USA. So it’s my first ever Peavey guitar. She looks cool in that sparkling red but her active circuit needs to be fixed before I can play her. I will work on that soon.

Then, another Yamaha 4-string bass came. The RBX170EW is an entry level that looks very nice in that exotic mango top. She’s been well played and seasoned, and she will be a useful spare for me or a beginner’s tool for a young musician.

Finally, I traded the Edwards and Soapbar for the American-made Fender Highway One Stratocaster that sat just above the Mexican strats. She’s been played extensively with lots of battle scars. But she sounds very nice, almost like my 56 strat. Will pit them against each other soon.
